Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you create an account, we collect an account identifier and, when supplied by your sign-in provider, your email address and display name. The app also stores the language, timezone, onboarding choices, goals, evidence, practice progress, reminders, weekly reviews, Luna conversations and other content you intentionally create.
Local data and manual cloud backup
Your working app data is stored on your device. If you are signed in and explicitly choose Back up now, Alpha Mindset sends a copy of your app state to our server so you can restore it later. This manual backup can include onboarding answers, goals, evidence, journal entries, progress, reminders, weekly reviews, preferences and Luna conversations. Creating a new backup replaces the previous cloud copy only after your confirmation.
Luna AI conversations
When you send a message to Luna, the conversation and relevant context you have recorded—such as active goals, obstacles, evidence and recent reviews—are sent through the Alpha Mindset server to our AI service provider to generate a response. AI responses may be inaccurate and should not be treated as medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. Provider-side response storage is disabled for these requests. Do not enter information you do not want processed for this purpose.
Private reflections
Journal entries and free-text reflections are treated as private product data. We do not sell them or use them for advertising. They are sent to our server only when you intentionally create a cloud backup or when relevant text is included in a Luna request you choose to send.
How we use information
We use information to operate and personalize the app, authenticate accounts, provide manual backup and restore, deliver reminders you request, answer Luna requests, protect the service, provide support and improve reliability.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for hosting, authentication and AI responses only as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users and the service.
Retention and deletion
Your local data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. A manual cloud backup remains until it is replaced or your account is deleted. You can initiate deletion inside the app or through our account deletion page. Account deletion removes associated server data and the app removes its local data after the server confirms deletion, except for limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
Security
We use encrypted transport, access controls, token revocation and operational backups. No internet service or storage method can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can use the app locally without creating a cloud backup, export your app data as JSON, disable reminders, change personalization settings and request access, correction or deletion. Product-update notifications are separate and optional.
Age
Alpha Mindset is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is a self-development tool and not medical or mental-health treatment.
